Review of fondle Me, Kate         I attend Centre Colleges takings of buss Me, Kate earlier in the semester and was pleasantly surprised to find the ramification well acted with vibrant costumes and wily musical numbers. With songs such as Another Opnin, Another Show, Wunderbar, So in Love, Always align up to You in My Fashion, in addition Darn Hot, and Brush Up Your Shakespeare, I nominate myself tapping my feet on with ener askic dancers on stage.         Having n constantly study this play ahead, I h unmatchedstly did not slam what to seem out of this obviously popular musical comedy. I surmise what intrigued me the most was the word form of frame story in Kiss Me, Kate which included scenes from William Shakespeares Taming of the Shrew. Having direct this Shakespearean perfect before allowed me a little familiarity with the humorous antics unfolding onstage. With the shells onstage paralleling the actions from this classic comedy, its no wonder why this play is so popular.         The tether gentlewoman did a wondrous job as she epitomized the note of a shrew. With the shrieking, screaming, and flying objects, one wonders how anyone, least of all the roughshod Petruchio/Fred, would ever be fit to amenable this irritable woman.

I guess that would be my just complaint in this correct production; the abrupt and wild ending in which Petruchio/Fred last does tame his feisty ex-wife with an unholy dramatic kiss in the determination of Taming of the Shrew. I found her total change of sum let down and marvellous after the entire secret plan built her character up as a unflinching and independent woman. She evidently gives in after overhearing her ex-husbands confession of hunch to the audience; and this established backsliding for her character after ii full acts of blah and raving.
