Marriage in the todays world has remained a rigid puzzle to crack with respect to the age of getting married. Young people, particularly college students have found it worthy getting married while in college claiming to prepare their lives in advance, without taking some time to figure much about the implications of such actions. This indistinct situation has brought forth the question under study and needs both pros and cons in order to validate my above stated argument. One good reason for college students to consider postponing their early marriages is the fact that they have to initially become financially and morally stable before committing to marriage obligations. Almost 8 0% of college students totally rely on their parents for their college fees as well as upkeep. Upon getting married, this would mean more pressure to the parents and guardians. Equally enough, marriage commitments would distract an individuals concentration and performance in school. Contrary to my above argument, research on pros of early marriage suggest that married students tend to be more mature than those not married, hence performing even better in their class work (Doosie et al., 1999). However, what the above scholar failed to understand is that such situation would change as the individuals careers sprouted. These couples would start having differences as well as have diverse perspective of life, hence ending up for a divorce in order to secure freedom. ...
