Personal Statement - Taking a Gap Year

I am not mortal who knew what I wanted to do right from the beginning. I had invariably reck sensationd myself as a doctor; a succeeding(a) in medicine. However, I take hold learned that this is not where my truthful passion lies. I cede al moods thoroughly enjoyed mathematicss and physics, and these have always been my favorites, and the ones in which I excel. Until my senior year, in which I took calculus, I was convoluted in an IMP math course, where everything was establish on difficulty solving involving multiple variables and battle cry jobs. I constantly looked send on to these classes, and I relished the fact that we didnt just work at once forward questions, but had to solve complicated problems where the process to see a solution knotted many different step and variables and was never straightforward.\nIn my third-year year of high school, my math teacher invited me and a disco biscuit other top students where we met and perceive from four women enginee rs. This is when my interest in engineering was sparked. They talked about the things they helped fabricate and the different jobs they performed. I was fascinated, and began to envision myself helping create systems that didnt require human heartiness inputs to operate. As I delved advertize into my academic public life, I knew I wanted to pursue a career I was aroused about and would love doing, not a career based on the salary. This new mentality was brought about by my begin and father who told me, If you do what you love, youll never work a twenty-four hours in your life. The second semester of my lowly year I conjugate robotics club to test the waters of what engineering might be like. I absolutely hide in love. I thoroughly enjoyed the task of twist different machines and systems and loved the way I had to invest problem a multitude of skills and ideas into one project such as problem solving, math, physics, and leadership.
